AI workflows · digital avatars · real-time 3D
I build tools and workflows for visual production. My current focus is AI video and digital avatars, drawing on a background in real-time 3D, interactive experiences, and creative R&D.
I work across development and technical art, connecting visual ideas with the tools, scenes, and processes needed to make them work in production.

Gaussian Splatting for TV
Unity scene assembly · Visual development · Rendering
A camera move into the space between robots during a stylized conversation in Cybervillage. The characters were created from Gaussian Splatting scans.
I assembled the full scene in Unity, explored ways to use the splats and rendering effects to shape the shot’s look, and rendered the sequence with its visual effects.

3D Supervision / R&D · Immersive music
An immersive music experience set in Oxyville, a virtual city built around Jean-Michel Jarre’s OXYMORE. I contributed through 3D supervision and R&D, working with the team on the visual and technical development of the experience.
The project brought music and a shared virtual space together, and received the 2023 Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Experiential Design.

Photographs in Motion
Personal experiment · AI reconstruction · Real-time animation
A tribute to Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii’s early colour photography. I used SHARP / ml-sharp to reinterpret single photographs as 3D Gaussian scenes, then animated them with Unity and VFX Graph.
The workflow included a custom GUI for tuning and batch processing, a music theme made with Suno, and editing, sound, colour, and post-production in DaVinci Resolve. The aim was to let the archival images breathe through movement, while keeping the original photographs at the heart of the piece.

Notes from the process
I’m exploring AI video, digital doubles, and face replacement, with an emphasis on control and repeatability. That means testing how a workflow handles a particular shot: identity, head movement, occlusion, smoke, or small faces in frame.
My work includes assembling ComfyUI workflows, evaluating LoRA-based approaches, and building tools around the practical needs of a production.
About
Background / practice
A technical experiment.
A visual possibility.
My background connects image-making and software. I started in web design and interactive media in 2000, then moved through animation, installations, VR, and real-time development. I co-founded Great Gonzo Studio and led its R&D work; at Yandex, my work has included volumetric media, Gaussian Splatting, synthetic data, and digital doubles.
I enjoy projects where a technical experiment opens up a visual idea. The Prokudin-Gorskii piece reflects that interest: new tools, old photographs, and a chance to look at something familiar differently.
